China Huadian Corporation Ltd. conducted research at Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics

News Network A research delegation of Huadian Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. under China Huadian Corporation Ltd. led by Mr. Guiyun Peng, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party committee and other 9 experts of Huadian Electric Power Research Institute carried out a research investigation on the advanced technologies and industrialization status of perovskite at WNLO (Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics) on December 17. Mr. Zhengxue Xie, deputy secretary of the Party committee of HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) presided over the forum to exchange with the delegation.   

Mr. Zhengxue Xie and the delegation discussed the development prospects of photovoltaic industry, industry-university-research cooperation pattern and other related issues. Mr. Guiyun Peng highly approved the outstanding contributions made by WNLO on high-tech and renewable energy fields. Meanwhile, the delegation expressed a strong desire to cooperate with WNLO in the field of renewable energy. Mr. Song Xia, secretary of the Party committee of WNLO and Ms. Dan Zhu, deputy director of WNLO also participated in the exchange forum.

During the delegation’s visit at Hubei Wonder Solar Limited Liability Company, Dr. Hongwei Han, professor of WNLO, expert on perovskite field and founder of Wonder Solar showed the delegation around the perovskite production line and provided detailed introduction on the fabrication, inspection and testing processes and the challenges faced in industrialization. Ms. Xia Zou, member of Standing Committee and minister of United Front Work Department of Ezhou City and Mr. Dehui Zhao, secretory of the Party committee and chief of the Science and Technology Bureau of Ezhou City also participated in the reception activity.
